Language has been a role in every ones life including me. I only was able to learn one spoken language in my life which is yet to pose a problem. But I was able to learn sing language back when I was in elementary school and also a little bit of middle school. This is due to my younger brother Zachary. Zach has mitochondria disease which makes his body very tired and makes it hard for him to do things such as walk or talk. So when Zach was younger he could barley speak. This caused problems with communications so zach began to have sign language classes in school. I began to teach my self sign language so I was able to understand my brother. My brother now can speak much better so we have eased off of sing language for years. The one negative thing to come out of that is how I have lost the ability to have full conversations in sign language. Language has played a pretty big role on me and my brothers bond. And maybe one day in the future i will go back to re-learn sign language.
