Julie Beck dives in on a lot of topics in her essay “life stories”. One of the things she talks about is realizing self. She talks about how we all live our own life and in that life we are the main character. And there’s many things around us that shape our character. As we live our life our life our character just continues developing more and more the longer we live, the longer our story. Another point of interest was how our lives aren’t just a one dimensional story. They have many stories short stories in them such as stories of love stories of adventure and many more. One of the other points of interest in her essay was how we are background characters for other individuals. Whether we are a main character or just a background character we tend to play other roles in others stories. The more people we meet the more stories we are in. The more time we invest into another individual the bigger role we play in there story. There were many interesting parts to Julie Beck’s “life stories” essay but I felt like I connected the most with these points in her story.
