Metaphors 

Metaphors. They have been around since the early 15th century. Metaphors are a figure of speech which help relay a deeper meaning, and can be used to help convey information to others. What does one think about when they hear this word? Many seem to think that they are just silly sayings, that don’t mean very much, but they are much more than that. Many people come up with their own sayings but real metaphors are actually made by metaphor designers. These designers spend months trying to make new ones. Metaphors are used by everyone in their daily lives. Some may not realize it but most people tend to use 5 metaphors every couple of minutes. Metaphors are all around us in schools in jobs in the army in the medical field they are everywhere. Many of these metaphors hold lots of meaning to certain individuals and can really open eyes.  Metaphors are made by very smart individuals that have worked for hours on hours, they are used in our everyday lives whether we realize it or not and many of these metaphors are held very close to individuals that hold a deeper meaning to the saying.
